Under the directives of Minister of Telecom Charles Hajj Touch launches a free 20GB data package to ensure the continuity of remote learning

Beirut, March 12, 2026: In light of the exceptional circumstances Lebanon is experiencing, touch has launched a free data package dedicated to remote learning. This package aims to ensure the continuity of education for students at all levels, with free access to educational platforms.
 
This initiative comes in response to the directives of Minister of Telecommunications Charles Hajj and the request of Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami.
 
The package includes 20 GB of data specifically for e-learning and is valid for use on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM. This gives teachers and students free access to Microsoft Teams and the Madristi platform, in addition to any other media designated by the Ministry of Education.
 
This initiative is part of the government's integrated efforts to overcome obstacles facing the education sector and ensure the continuity of education, with an immediate response from the mobile sector.
