Minister Sehnaoui inaugurated touch’s new contact center

Beirut, 28 November 2013: touch’s new contact center located in Beirut Digital District was inaugurated Wednesday morning by The Minister of Telecommunications, Nicolas Sehnaoui, in the presence of touch’s management and media figures.

After receiving a call from a customer at the new contact center, Sehnaoui stated, “We are inaugurating touch’s new contact center, which is equipped with the newest technology, with the aim to improve the quality of the customer service offered to touch’s customers. More than 21,000 calls are being answered daily in this center, marking another major achievement for touch which has succeeded in competing with the highest international standards in this sector. On this occasion, we congratulate all touch team members who worked hard to maintain these important achievements. Their efforts have further proven the strong aptitude of telecom companies in Lebanon to overcome challenges, while striving to develop customer service by adopting the latest technologies.”

He also mentioned that touch extended the designated time to receive customer inquiries to 24 hours, 7 days a week, after boosting the new contact center’s capacity.

The Chief Commercial Officer at touch, Mr. Nadim Khater, confirmed, “After launching new and cutting edge offers in 2013 to meet the various customers’ needs, we are now focusing on reinforcing customer service as part of the general strategy adopted by the company. The new contact center possesses a larger capacity which allows us to respond to all customer calls by phone. Our efforts expanded further to receive customer calls around the clock, seven days a week.”
