touch signs Gold Sponsorship Agreement with SAMA  to broadcast the FIFA World Cup 2018
 
Beirut – June 14, 2018: touch, the leading mobile telecommunications and data operator in Lebanon, managed by Zain Group, has announced its sponsorship of the FIFA World Cup 2018 broadcast directly on Lebanon’s cable channel, Tele Liban. The deal was reached between the Lebanese government and SAMA Group, with the Golden Sponsorship agreement signing ceremony that took place today between touch and SAMA Group. SAMA Group is the sole distributor of beIN Sports in Lebanon.

I would also like to thank beIN and its Chairman and CEO, Mr. Nasser Al Khelaifi, for facilitating Lebanon’s and the world’s enjoyment of this great sporting spectacle.”
 
In parallel, touch has organized a series of activities associated with the World Cup to share its enthusiasm with the Lebanese community and to keep them up to date on all the action. These activities have been arranged through a series of competitions and challenges over touch’s social media channels, offering individuals the chance to win valuable prizes.  
 
touch is moving the high-octane World Cup atmosphere to N12 Fan Park in Mar Mikhael; a venue that is expected to attract over 30,000 viewers. touch is also providing free 4G SIM card replacements for all touch customers, with more than 350,000 active Snapchat users in Lebanon being empowered to take advantage of Snapchat Lens during the World Cup.
