How to activate
- Ensure Your Device Supports VoLTE:
Check that your smartphone model and software version are VoLTE-enabled.
Insert a 4G SIM (USIM) or eSIM
VoLTE works only with 4G-enabled SIM cards. - Activate a Data Subscription
You must have an active 4G data plan to use VoLTE. - Enable VoLTE in Settings
Go to Settings → Mobile Network → Enable VoLTE (exact path may vary by device). - Restart Your Phone
Once activated, you’ll see the VoLTE icon on your status bar during calls.
Need to know
- VoLTE calls are billed as regular voice minutes, not mobile data.
- VoLTE subscriber can call someone who doesn’t have VoLTE but the call will revert to standard call quality.
- If subscriber move out of 4G coverage during a call he will seamlessly switch to 3G or 2G (depending on available coverage).
- No additional cost for using VoLTE calls are charged exactly like normal voice calls, according to your current plan.
- Supported Devices: Currently, VoLTE is supported only on iPhones, Android devices will be supported in the future.
