Touch statement about postpaid lines invoices for the month of June

Beirut on July 7, 2022: Following the issuance of its postpaid line bills for the month of June, touch clarifies the following:

  • The postpaid lines invoices usually consist of two main sections in addition to calculating taxes: a section related to the monthly subscription fees and the subscription for services for each new month, and another section related to the voice calls, SMS ad data consumed in the previous month.
  • The monthly and any other services subscriptions fees are taken in advance in the bill that is issued either on the first or in the middle of each month, noting that the contract signed between the company and the customer refers to the pre-payment of subscriptions.
  • Regarding June invoices, the consumed voice calls, SMS and out of bundles data were calculated at the exchange rate of 1514.5 LBP, while the subscriptions for the month of July were calculated according to the new reduced tariff on Sayrafa exchange rate.

Accordingly, touch reassures that it has not amended its billing system, but rather, it has proceeded with the implementation of the new telecommunications and data tariffs in terms of subscriptions for the month of July, in accordance with the cabinet resolution number 155, issued on May 20th, 2022, and that has specified July 1st as the date of the new tariffs implementation.
