touch restores nearly fully network service in areas affected by the recent war on Lebanon

Beirut, March 14, 2025: Touch announced the near-full restoration of its network service in areas affected by the recent war, particularly in the South, the Bekaa, and the Southern Suburbs, that lead to more than 90% of its transmission stations working normally. Mobile telecommunications and data services are now available to subscribers wherever they are in the aforementioned locations.

touch succeeded in fully restoring network service in the Western Bekaa, as well as all its sites in Nabatieh. The company's teams, working day and night, were also able to repair the majority of its damaged sites in Tyre, Bint Jbeil, Jezzine, Marjayoun, and Mays al-Jabal.

Work is currently underway, to develop alternative and practical solutions for some of the completely damaged transmission sites, such as replacing them with mobile stations or deploying two main data transmission systems (MBTS), one in Aita al-Shaab and the other in Maroun al-Ras, as well as the Taybeh-Kfar Kila-Adaisseh triangle following the arrival of the Lebanese Army, similar to what was done in Khiyam, Hosh Tyre, and Mays al-Jabal.

In parallel, the company has repaired 51 sites in the southern suburbs, while five sites were completely damaged and are currently being replaced with new stations.

Touch confirms that its teams will spare no effort to ensure continuous network coverage service, while providing the quality its customers expect to have in these areas in particular, as well as across all Lebanese regions.
